Daishō

(2019)

Daishō (大小) is a two-piece set of stools complementing each other visually and structurally, and is designed to be used together as a pair or individually. The Japanese word daishō means 'large and small,' referring to a pair of samurai swords. It symbolises balance through complementarity —embracing power and humility, finding harmony in contrasts.
